Rum Butter

Rum Butter was popular throughout Cumberland in the 18th century, due to the area's connection with the sugar & rum trades. It was used all year round, and had associations with celebrating new born babies.

Rum Butter is delicious on Christmas pudding, mince pies, hot toast or crumpets.

Ingredients: Sugar, BUTTER (MILK) (39%) (butter, salt), Rum (7%), Spices.
