The Minoan civilisation was at its heyday from 2000 to 1450 BC in Crete and other Greek islands. This spice and herb mix is based upon archaeological and ‘linear B’ written evidence from Minoan sites, mixing exotic cumin and coriander with locally grown mint, dittany and fennel. It can be used to add authentic Minoan flavour to any stew, or use as a rub when grilling meat or fish.
Ingredients: Cumin, Coriander, Spearmint, Dittany of Crete, Fennel, SESAME.
