Ancient Egyptian Mix

This Ancient Egyptian herb and spice mix is based upon archaeological and written records from ancient Egypt. The Egyptians were trading in exotic spices to compliment some of their home grown herbs, including the introduction of Cassia Cinnamon, imported from Arabia and Ethiopia. Many of these herbs and spices were also used as medicines. Try adding an authentic ancient Egyptian flavour to any stew, or use as a rub when grilling meat or fish.

Ingredients: Black Pepper, Cumin, Anise, Dill, Marjoram, Fenugreek, Coriander, Cinnamon.
